Microsoft: Xbox One Beta is not ready for release

The Xbox One beta for Windows 10 is currently not ready to be released, Microsoft has announced.

The company said in a blog post on Tuesday that the beta program for Windows 8.1 is not yet complete, and that it is “not expected to be ready for general release until the end of the year”.

“It is possible that it could be released before the end-of-year timeframe, but it is not expected to become available until after the end date of Windows 10,” Microsoft said.

“We are not expecting to be able to release the beta at the same time as the Windows 10 launch, but we’re working on it.”

The Microsoft Beta program for Xbox One is set to launch in October, and Microsoft said that it would offer support to anyone with a Windows 10 beta code through the end, October, 2020.

However, Microsoft said it will not be able release a Windows 8 Beta or a Windows 7 Beta to customers in early 2020.

The Microsoft beta program has been in place for about a year now, but Microsoft said on Tuesday it was not yet ready for the public release of Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows 8 for Mobile, because there are still some bugs and issues that need to be ironed out.

“While the beta for those platforms is not complete, the Xbox One will be available to download in the coming weeks,” Microsoft added.

“Our engineers are hard at work to make sure it meets our expectations for stability and performance.”

Microsoft also said it would be releasing a “full suite of beta testing tools” and “additional testing options” to help Microsoft and third-party developers in the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Windows 10 Beta Program for Xbox is still expected to arrive sometime in November, and it will allow users to take part in beta trials of Xbox games and apps before they are released on the general public.

Microsoft said in January that Xbox Live would be launching alongside the Windows Store in October.

Microsoft previously said it planned to launch the Xbox LIVE beta program in October 2020, but did not say when.

Microsoft said in February that it planned the Xbox Beta program to launch before the official launch of Windows on November 7.
