Sevilla’s Virgil Varella has joined the Spanish club on a season-long loan deal, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 27-year-old joined Sevilla from Genoa in 2011 on a free transfer.
The former Italy international has been in and out of the starting XI at Sevilla this season, and he has started just five of the club’s 11 league games.
Varela has made two appearances for Sevillas this season and scored his first goal in La Liga last weekend.
The forward has been capped by Italy at the under-21 level, and scored twice for the country at the 2014 World Cup.
