Microsoft has shut down beta sites for users of its Xbox beta software, including the SportsBetting.com site, which Microsoft says will be blocked from all Xbox Live and Xbox Live Gold users.
The company said it had notified all beta testers that beta access to the beta sites would be revoked.
“We’ve received information that Beta access to these beta sites is no longer permitted,” a Microsoft spokeswoman said in a statement.
“This includes the Beta Access page, the Beta Service, the Game Hub, and the Sports Betting.
The decision to block access to this site is solely for the beta community.”
Microsoft said it will review the service and update its policies for its Xbox Live Beta program.
The Associated Press is not naming the sites or their owners to protect their privacy.
